Life Path Number is a significant number in Numerology. It defines your life purpose and the various strengths and weaknesses you have in achieving your life objectives.
In Chaldean Numerology, it is also known as the Destiny Number.
Calculation of Life Path Number:
LifePath Number is calculated by combining all of the numbers of your birthdate into a single digit. Numbers 11, 22, and 33 are known as Master Numbers and they are not reduced to a single digit.
For Example, if your date of birth is September 24, 2001,
It will be:
Month = 09 = 0+9 = 9
Date = 24 = 2+4 = 6
Year = 2001 = 2+0+0+1 = 3
LifePath Number will be 9 + 6 + 3=18 = 1+8 = 9.
Destiny Number:
All the alphabets are assigned a number as follows as per Pythagorean Numerology:
A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4, E = 5, F = 6, G = 7, H = 8, I = 9,
J = 1, K = 2, L = 3, M = 4, N = 5, O = 6, P = 7, Q = 8, R = 9,
S = 1, T = 2, U = 3, V = 4, W = 5, X = 6, Y = 7, Z = 8.
Assign numbers to the letters of the name. Reduce them to a single digit. Add these single-digit numbers and reduce the final number to a single digit. This will be the Destiny Number.
Numbers 11, 22, and 33 are master numbers that are not reduced further.
Example: If the name is Henry Smith,
Henry: 8+5+5+9+7 = 34 = 3+4 = 7
Smith: 1+4+9+2+8 = 24 = 2+4 = 6
Adding 6 + 7 = 13 and reducing 1+3 =4
Destiny Number of Henry Smith will be 4.
