Chinese Astrology is somewhat different from Western Astrology. This is because, unlike the western astrology where there are monthly cycles, the Chinese astrology has got yearly cycles of 12 years. Different animal signs are used to represent each year cycle. About this, the year that you were born under would, therefore, determine your destiny.
According to the Chinese astrology zodiac signs, they believed that people of a particular year were born with personality traits just like the animal that rules over them. To make things clearer, 2016 was a year that was believed to be the monkey’s year. On the other hand, 2017, is therefore regarded as the Rooster’s year.
